Jason Phelps is a licensed psychotherapist offering counseling and psychotherapy services to people in
Montreal experiencing difficulty in their lives or relationships. He has been active in the pursuit of
health and social justice for 15 years through a variety of personal and professional activities.
He holds a Master’s degree in Clinical Social Work from McGill University and is Part-Time Faculty for
Concordia University’s Applied Human Sciences and Psychology Departments.
Jason Phelps is a member of the Ordre Professionnelle des Travailleurs Sociaux du Québec. His professional
activities have included working as an addictions counselor in residential treatment programs and as a front
line street worker with teens in difficulty and on Montreal's streets. As a clinical social worker, he has practiced in three of
Montreal’s hospital emergency departments as well as in adult and child psychiatry. He has held positions
as a teaching and research assistant in three of Montreal’s colleges and universities.
